Pre-Course Evaluation:
If you are interested in this course, please let us know. We will be asking you some questions about your goals and expectations to see if this course is right for you. It will also help us tailor the course to best meet your goals as an individual.
Course Description:
Timothy and Shannon Campau are desiring to work with youth interested in bettering themselves and being a fellow servant of Messiah. Our goal is to become Vessels of Honor, set apart for His use. The focus will be on training individuals to seek the Kingdom of God first, with teaching on how to walk this out in our daily life. This course is primarily designed for mature youth or young adults, here by designated as the trainee. The trainee(s) will be staying with us and receive our fully focused attention on the individual level, which is not practical with a larger number of students. Some of the core principles that we will be focusing on and hope to instill during our time together are building relationships, stewardship principles, whole body health, and teamwork. Emphasis will be on building righteous character traits and habits displaying the fruits of the Spirit that will last a lifetime. These principles will be brought out in multiple ways throughout the course with emphasis in hands on training. The final goal being to train up soldiers for His Kingdom and glory, a Vessel of Honor. Upon completion of the time with us, each trainee will receive a personal overview of their performance as well as a certificate of completion with the understanding that further training can be obtained if desired.
A main focus of the camp will be doing life, making choices, and solving problems as a team. In a word, TEAMWORK. This will require commitment and participation in the activities provided.
The core of our program will be going through the book "4 Keys to Hearing God's Voice" by Communion With God Ministries. Through this book you will learn how to better hear God's voice and discern His from the enemy's. This, in our opinion, has the most potential to profoundly change your life for the better as you continue to cultivate your relationship with your Creator.
Expectations of trainee:
Trainees are expected to be respectful, well behaved and maintain tidy quarters. There will be periodic surprise inspections to encourage this discipline. There will be several required tasks as needed simply for day to day living, as well as some core training that will help develop teamwork through shared responsibilities. Trainees will be expected to participate and fulfill Basic Training as well as participate in Elite Training. Trainees are to respect their instructors at all times, but are also expected to constructively discuss any difficulties encountered, or bring forth any requests for improvements to the schedule or course materials, especially during the daily and weekly review discussion time.
